New Yorkers will now get the Interactive Media Guide with their FiOS TV service (press release). This very cool feature lets you browse and search channels, listings and more in an interface that's more like your home computer.
You can see a demo of the IMG at verizon.com, or check out a recent blog post I made about one blogger's honest appraisal of the feature.
According to the press release, future editions of the IMG will include Internet radio, videos, podcasts and games...which, along with the "FiOS Fone", further blurs the line between the your home's TV, computer and phone, into one seamless experience. (Which is just what the Gurus are all about!)
