Ha, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, mice (except for when I'm typing, of course.)

That's funny! My favorite is Dear Axl Rose.
I wonder how many of those musicians actually cash the checks?

Ha! I hadn't seen the Axl one before, that's pretty good.
I would guess most of those folks wouldn't cash a check for $5, since they'd probably think it was just a clever autograph-hound looking for a signature (or bank account number!) to sell. But I'd be really surprised if anyone tossed away a $5 bill....

Just heard about a pretty cool and entertaining site today, courtesy of our friends over at YesButNoButYes.
The site's called DearRockers.org. It's for those unscrupulous knaves (not any of you law-abiding forum members, of course) who may have downloaded pirated copies of music in the past, felt guilty about it, and want to kick back a few bucks directly to the musicians. (Does no one's heart bleed for the poor record executives any more?)
Anyway, the idea is that you write a personalized letter to the applicable rock star(s), then send a photo of it to the site, and mail the letter off to them, along with $5 cash. So I suppose after their mail gets sent, they become semi-scrupulous knaves, which is better, I guess.
