So today is my last official day working on My Home 2.0. I'll be taking a break for a little while, spending some time with my family, and sitting on a beach in Florida sipping a frosty beverage, possibly out of a pineapple or coconut. (I'm still on the fence about the tiny umbrella, though.)
When I look back at how far our "little" show has come, it blows my mind. From the conceptual stages early last year ("What if we did a home makeover show...but with technology...and invited the whole neighborhood to the reveal...") to our recently-wrapped ninth and tenth episode shoots, it really has been an amazing journey, one that I feel privileged to have taken.
I would like to thank everyone who's been involved with My Home 2.0, for making my job so enjoyable over this last year or so. Everyone at Verizon, Campfire, all the crew, and the Techno-Gurus -- it's been an absolute pleasure working with each and every one of you.
And thanks, especially, to all of our 2.0 Families, for not only NOT freaking out that some big, crazy, bearded dude was traipsing through their homes taking pictures and videos, but for actually welcoming me into their homes and truly making me feel like a part of the family.
I'll still be checking in from time to time, and I feel really good about leaving the site in such capable hands as Dee's. I can't wait to see what she and the Gurus have in store....

Jim,
Good luck on getting the sand off of your feet and gently sipping the libation. We enjoyed working with you and the kids love the Flip Video recorder. You are always welcome to come and play some guitar hero or baseball on the Wii. Thank you for helping us out.
Bill

Jim - you were missed the day the crew left our house. No more "Jim 2.0" is here, he's filming everything." It was great meeting and working with you. I wish you well. Check back to hear the songs I've created by myself since the makeover.

Dude,
You are manly enough to have a tiny umbrella in your tropical beverage.
You are good man, Jim. All the success in the world to ya!
