The seven members of the Word family are musically talented, but had old technology for writing songs and listening to music. They also didn't have equipment that let them come together as a family and watch television - all they had was "Yellowvision." The Gurus not only set them up to make beautiful music together with a digital wall harp and renovated play room, but redid their living room with a 47" HDTV (equipped with FiOS Premiere TV service) that retracts into a cabinet when not being used.

FAMILY ROOM:

The Words' previous television was so out of whack that the images were only shown in shades of orange, and this musical family didn't even have a stereo that worked.  Additionally, they had previously experienced some serious problems when their 911 call for help with daughter Kennedy's food allergies kept getting disconnected.  

We gave the Words a space where they could gather together as a family and watch television in surround sound.  Mom Aleasa will have the comfort of knowing that her FiOS telephone service won't fail her during a time of emergency.  She can also keep up-to-date on Kennedy's food allergies and treatment with a new laptop computer, while the family can use the desktop computer for homework and leisure.
