Verizon's Refer A Friend Program has been in place for a while, but with the recent addition of voice services to the referral options, the time to take advantage of it has never been better.

For each friend you refer, you'll get $50 towards your Verizon bill for each service they subscribe to -- FiOS TV, Internet or phone -- for a possible total of $150 per friend. And since you can refer up to 12 friends per year, depending on your subscription package and personal powers of persuasion, you could conceivably get FiOS for next to nothing for the entire year!

Not that you need to be a Svengali or anything when it comes to "selling" FiOS to your friends -- just invite a few over for some game day or movie night high-def action, take a few digital pics of the festivities, and upload them to Flickr in seconds, and you'll probably be more than covered. (But hey, if you really want to amp up your home theater system just in case, say with a hotrod-shaped couch or embedded speakers, our DIY page has gotcha covered, too!)
