Via Make Magazine today (which also blogged our own Twittering Teddy recently) comes a really fascinating visual study from designer Matt Kirkland, entitled In Vestimentis Ursum.
Citing a long-held curiosity about "stuffed animals that sing, dance, light up, or talk back," Kirkland took apart several such robo-toys to see what makes them tick. In his site's "Stupid Projects" section, he posted a series of before-and-after photos, ranging from "cute" to "scary" to "what the heck is that?"
Now the only question that remains (for me, anyway) is...what does one then do with over two dozen half-taken-apart robo-toys?
