I'm thoroughly convinced I'll never be ready for this makeover. Trying to organize stuff in the house, doing laundry to get ready for the stay in the RV and working is wearing me out. Kennedy is having allergy issues and we're trying to ward off any asthma issues. Calgon take me away!
LaShayna and Lewis are getting ready for graduation so they have no time for anything these days. One more day and they start. Hallelujah!

Aleasa, I'm in the airport right now, waiting to go to Delaware for your makeover!
I have asthma as well...always have to make sure I get my inhaler Rx filled before I leave town, as well as the other 100 things on my usual pre-travel checklist. So I can imagine what you're going through right now!
Don't worry, though -- come Saturday afternoon (a mere four days away, woohoo!) you and your family are going to be SO happy, you won't even remember these pre-makeover jitters.
Seriously -- don't worry about cleaning, because the Gurus are going to rearrange everything anyway. And don't worry about laundry, either -- worst case scenario, we've got a whole box of My Home 2.0 crew t-shirts you would all look great in. ;)

Aleasa I came home from work yesterday and found a note on my door that a family in my neighborhood would be featured on a reality tv show. i was thrilled for whoever it was! I saw your immediate neighbors out sprucing up for the crew! it was wonderful. If you never mingled with your neighbors before, now would be a great time to do it! They are supporting you!!! Congratulations again! Can't wait for the block party!

take several deep breaths and you will get through this and enjoy it. We sure did. I know what you are going through only to well as I had to work every day during our shoot, get home and change into the infamous pink shirt (I'll explain that at a time when we can get together for a coffee and exchange stories). and remember-alot of down time sitting and waiting for your turn to be filmed. Looking forward to seeing you on Sat.

Aleasa, have a wonderful time this weekend! Clean? Don't bother! Your house will be rearranged, over and over, room by room for each shoot. But don't worry . . . you are in great hands with the 2.0 crew. We had such a great experience with the people from Campfire and everyone from Verizon — all really wonderful folks. Enjoy each day and congratulations to your family! Jerry Buckley (block party #3)
