Meeting all the needs of this busy, seven-member family is sure to be a challenge for our Techno-Gurus...what do you think they should create for the Words? Get to know this family and leave your suggestions for the Gurus in the blog comments below!

A big hearted-family living in a not-so-big space, the Words, of Newark, Delaware, are an ambitious crew with high hopes for the future.

Eldest son Lewis, 17, is a super-talented young man -- an award-winning singer who also produces positive hip-hop and gospel music. His older sister LaShayna, 18, is also a singer and would love to one day produce music with him. Wannabe-chef Shane, 6, attends a Greek charter school, where he's developed a love of Greek food and dance.

Mom and Dad -- Aleasa and Shane -- want the best for their talented family, and both work very hard to give them every opportunity. Unfortunately, all that work leaves precious little time to actually enjoy together. The family -- especially Dad Shane -- loves to watch movies, but their current TV leaves much to be desired (like colors besides yellow, for instance.)

Daughter Kennedy, 4, has health issues that require Mom to constantly use the computer for accessing information on her allergies and different medicines that could make life easier. Daughter Maiché, 9, and the other kids also need a dependable Internet connection to stay on top of their school work. When their computer takes half an hour to boot up before crashing, however, it's hard to keep up.

A full house with five kids doesn't leave the Gurus a lot of space to work with, but an almost-finished garage conversion could be a great blank slate for them.

So, what should Alison, Brian, and Lloyd do with this blank slate? Leave your comments below!

Yeah, I'm excited, too, Aleasa! Seems like each makeover just gets better than the last. I'm not sure what the Gurus have planned for your family yet, but I'd be willing to bet you'll at least be able to watch TV in more colors than just yellow and black. (That would drive me nuts, by the way -- do you guys just end up watching a lot of nature documentaries about bees, or what?)

Marlee -- cool idea! I know Guru Lloyd has some experience doing some pretty cool stuff with music. (Guru Brian as well...but I'm not sure I'd want this in my kitchen, personally.)

Congrats! I use CCleaner for maintaining my PC. It cleans registries and is so much quicker to load the un-installation wizard for programs. It's so small in file space, as well, so it won't waste much Hard Disk storage. Hope this helps! For CCleaner, which is FREE, go to www.CCleaner.com. For LaShayna and Lewis, I recommend ACID Music Studio or ACID Pro, by Sony. Visit this URL for more info: http://www.acidplanet.com/tools/?p=acid&T=8754 Thanks, t3h badg3r

Congrats Word family! This is so awesome for you guys. I was looking at that networked fridge - that would be a great addition for you guys - with all the busy schedules, this would help. Leasa, so happy for you - can't wait to see you on t.v. See you at the block party!

Congrats family!! I hope the Gurus do it all!! The networked fridge would be totally awesome and you need it especially for Kennedy. Each one of you needs a working computer for work and school work and the studio would be a tremendous help to Louis as he moves forward with his music. You guys are so deserving and I can't wait to see the final result so we'll see you at the block party!

I think the gurus should watch the kids for a week while mom and dad go on vacation! Not very high tech, but I bet you wouldn't hear any arguements from them.

I am really anticipating a brand new studio!!! It would definitely cut the cost for studio time, and I could get new music out more quickly. This would definitely help me move foward in my music. With the help of verizon I just may be the NEXT BIG THING!!! But whatever it is I am greatly appreciative. Thx and can't wait!!!

I think the gurus should build the family a trio of robot backup singers programmed with the coolest dance moves and fiberoptic tuxedos that can change color to match the mood of the music.

Ha, that's an awesome idea, Freddy! Since the Gurus are unveiling their makeover in about 24 hours, though, I'm not sure they'd have enough time to get all that together. ;)

But since I like the way you think, tell ya what...check your email, get back to me with your mailing address, and I'll send you a My Home 2.0 t-shirt!

Thanks to everyone for adding to this fun brainstorm -- hope I get to see some of you at the block party tomorrow!

Many thanks in advance for whatever they reveal tomorrow. The crew has been great and I must say I'm totally spoiled. I'll hate to see you go.

Aleasa, thank YOU for making all of us feel like a part of your wonderful family these past few days. When Lewis left for his prom yesterday, it seemed like there were just as many crew members smiling and snapping pictures as the extended family members. I know we'll all miss you guys, too, but we're looking forward to hearing more from you after the reveal. Get some rest and have a great day tomorrow! :)
