Indiana Condos to Come FiOS-Ready

Mar 20, 2008

Via EngadgetHD comes this news item from Inside Indiana Business: 62 luxury condos in Fort Wayne’s new Harrison Square building will come pre-wired (pre-fibered?) for FiOS TV and Internet.

The mixed-use building, which also includes 24,000 square feet of retail space, is an important part of the revitalization of downtown Fort Wayne. It seems the developers have recognized, like FCC Chairman Kevin Martin, the importance that broadband access plays in such economic growth and revitalization.

Condominiums at “The Harrison,” as it will be known, start in the $150,000s, and are all already reserved — but prospective buyers still are encouraged to make a reservation with a $1,000, refundable deposit, just in case.
