Ditching the tiny tube TV and VCR but keeping their furniture, the Buckleys got a new-yet-familiar home theater, perfect for the crystal-clear, all-digital premium movie and Karaoke packages they get with their FiOS TV service. And with the FiOS Home Media DVR, they can record their favorite shows and watch them on any TV in the house.
Now that Jerry and his 6-year-old daughter jam together as The JBJBs, squeaky old cassettes won't cut it. With this state-of-the-art digital home studio, their songs will sound as pitch-perfect to their grandkids as they do today. And with the lightning-fast upload speed of their FiOS connection, they can share each catchy new hit with the world in a matter of seconds.
Sue's cramped half-workroom is now a full, sophisticated studio showroom, bathed in elegant, modern whites that make her baubles pop with color. Her wall-mounted HDTV swivels to wherever she's tinkering. Then when each piece is complete, Sue captures a moveable, 360° digital image and uploads it to her custom gallery website, all with just a few clicks on her new laptop.
Young Julia can now rock the latest in fun, educational software, as well as Family Place -- the new FiOS Games on Demand service -- without freezing or crashing. Her custom-built shadow wall, which can "record" shadow puppets and drawings from a light pen, is just the glow-in-the-dark icing on her creativity cake.
