Now, I have to admit that when I first heard that the Zaharkos had 9 children, I was nervous. Being the only child and having all of my cousins still in Beijing, I was never around many kids. So the morning we went to their house, I loaded up on caffeine and self-affirmations. I even watched a ton of kids TV the night before to get up-to-speed with the latest kids shows! Fortunately, all of my anxiety was gone as soon as we were greeted at the door by 11 smiling faces. The hours we all spent together felt like a mere 2 seconds, because you know as they say...time flies when you're having fun! Ruthie even offered to pull out the sofa couch so I can sleep over. Slumber party!!! I can't wait to go back so the girls can teach me the latest High School Musical dance moves!
