FiOS: Covered Shoes, Dishes

Came across a couple of entertaining weekend posts from bloggers just getting hooked up with FiOS -- Raymond Law of rayvinly.com, and Bitna of Ooh Shiny.

rayvinly.jpgSome of software engineer Raymond's rave review might be a bit on the tech-y side for most, but anyone can appreciate the punctuality and professionalism shown by his FiOS installer:

"This guy, Jason, is probably one of the most knowledgeable technicians that I’ve ever had at my house. He seems very proficient at the installation of the ONT, BBU,... And he had the TV remote controls memorized! He covers his shoes before walking on my carpet. So that’s a bonus."

bitna.jpgAnd after having just 20 channels on basic cable for a while, Bitna is looking forward to enjoying one of my personal favorite subjects on FiOS TV: food! All those yummy treats on the Food Network should look even more mouth-watering in high-def...although the flip side is that the clarity of uncompressed HD just might accentuate a certain host's "overly hyper, munchkin face," so proceed with caution, Bitna!

Congrats to Raymond and Bitna, enjoy the FiOS!
