Sorry, Brian, it's time to let go.
It was a pretty close race, but the winner of our first-ever My Home 2.0 Brain-Fu Battle is...
THE ZAHARKO KIDS!
Their winning photo of "The Moon" was Picture A:
Considering Jay Zaharko (the "substitute moon") was several hundred yards away and the photos were essentially taken with $20 webcams, both teams' results are pretty impressive.
But in the end, I think it may have been Jay's performance in Picture A that swayed people -- pensive, touching, artsy yet not pretentious...surely Jay will soon become Hollywood's Go-To Guy for the portrayal of sensitive celestial bodies!
And hopefully the Zaharko kids can take a picture of the real moon for us with their nifty homemade telescope some night when it's not so cloudy and snowy. (No offense to Jay's moontastic performance or anything.)
But for now, there's surely only one project on the Zaharko kids' minds...snip snip! Stay tuned....

We are so proud of the children. The years of training for the 2008 Brain-Fu games have paid off.
We would love to take a picture of the moon and post it if we could get a clear evening/night in Pittsburgh!
Our condolences go out to Brian. The kids are glad to be victorious, but Brian will always be #1 to them (with or without hair) thanks to the awesome theater seating he gave us in the basement drive-in!!

Congratulations to the Zaharkos!!!!! I knew you guys would win (but don't tell Brian I said that). I just ask you all to be creative when it comes to his hair. Instead of just cutting it, how about styling it or coloring it? I think he'd look stunning as a red head with straight hair.

Yue I like the whole red hair thing but I was thinking maybe a perm . Brian would look awesome with a huge fro.
