Hear ye, hear ye!
Welcome one and all to the My Home 2.0 Brain-Fu Battle, a contest of smarts and skill designed to see who is the most awesome: Techno-Guru Brian or the Zaharko kids + FiOS?
The winner(s) gets a handsome "Brain-Fu Battle Champion" trophy, bragging rights and a pair of scissors.
The loser(s) gets a hair cut, performed by the winning team, in any style they choose. (Although we suggest "The Executive.")
The Challenge:
Each team must take a picture of the moon*, using a combination of any or all of the materials provided. The team that takes the best picture** within 24 hours wins the challenge.

Each Team's Materials:
1 USB webcam
1 telephoto camera lens
1 2" PVC pipe
2 2" PVC endcaps
1 14ml tube quick-setting epoxy
1 tripod
1 laptop computer
2 4" strap hinges
2 2" metal hose clamps
2 soft dome-shaped doorstops
1 electric drill
1 hot glue gun
1 vacuum-cleaner belt
2 1" plastic symbols for "male" and "female"
1 heart-shaped chocolate
1 of those plastic thingies you put over house keys to identify them
The Rules:
1. Each team may use whatever resources are at their disposal. Neither team may solicit help from any member of the opposing team, however.
2. Neither team shall shirk their household duties (dishes, laundry, etc.) in order to work on the challenge. What Mom and Dad say goes.
3. No kicking, hitting, spitting or wedgies. (This means you too, Brian!)
4. The judges may add any other rules, at their sole discretion, which they may have been too scatterbrained to think of before writing out this list of rules. What the judges say goes.
*The actual moon -- the celestial body orbiting the Earth -- not some other kind of "moon," smarty-pants.
**"Best picture" is defined as the image in which the moon appears the largest, clearest, most detailed, and whatever other criteria the judges, at their sole discretion, may choose to apply.
Anti-static bags included with electronics can be used for other projects!

Where in the world did you get that trophy so fast! That is great!
Good Luck to all under current weather circumstances...

I got it at this place in Pittsburgh called Elegance in Awards. They were able to get it done the same day, I was pretty amazed. If you're ever in Pittsburgh and need a trophy, I'd highly recommend them.
Battle update coming soon!
