Those Zaharko kids from must be pretty smart by now, huh? It's been a few months since their technology makeover, and the days of struggling for term paper time on one clunky old computer are ancient history. Instead, they've now got multiple workstations, all networked on a central server and linked to the worldwide web via one of the fastest household Internet connections available. Thousands of years of human knowledge is at their fingertips, available in fractions of a second.
So how are the Zaharkos adjusting? Are they getting better grades? And, most importantly...
Can they whoop a Techno-Guru?
We wanted to check in on our most populous 2.0 Family and see how they were doing. Since we'll be shooting some new episodes of My Home 2.0 soon, we also wanted to make sure Brian's Guru chops were honed and ready to rock. (Some of his behavior over the hiatus has been, well, let's say questionable.)
So we came up with a simple idea: give them all a tech challenge to complete over a couple days and see who wins -- the Zaharko kids or Guru Brian? Winner gets a handsome trophy and the satisfaction of knowing they're the Brain-Fu Champion(s). Loser has to...well, we're still mulling that one over, but we're open to suggestions, if you want to leave a comment below.
Both sides, in addition to the challenge, will also have to stay on top of dishes, laundry, and any other chores Christine and Jay Zaharko dole out. And Brian had better hope he doesn't get grounded....
Will it be fair? Heck no. (We're honing Brian's chops, remember?) Will it be fun? Absolutely...for you, anyway, O gentle reader. For Guru Brian, maybe not so much.
Check the blog for updates...the challenge starts this week!

As much as I should support my awesome fellow guru, something tells me that the Zaharko kids are going to give Brian a run for his money!
