Jumpsuits, schmumpsuits -- this is the new Guru getup for invading peoples' homes in Season 2!
Kidding (thank heaven.) The My Home 2.0 Team hung out at the Bear Creek ski resort near Macungie, PA, this week, to discuss some of the cool things we'll be doing this spring. The highlight of the trip had to be the Guitar Hero tournament, in which the winner got the privilege of battling Techno-Guru Brian...er, I mean, his Scandinavian cousin, Guntar Grupleholfer, for the grand trophy.
I just had to take a quick snapshot with my camera phone for posterity -- the lighting's not ideal, but trust me...there really weren't too many other angles from which you'd want to see this sight. That faux fur...well, diaper didn't leave a whole lot to the imagination, especially when Guntar warmed up for his heavy metal shredding with a rousing set of squat thrusts.
Brian actually made that costume for his, uh, cousin -- who knew how multi-talented this Guru really is? Can't wait to see what he, Lloyd and Yue have in store for our next 2.0 Families....

I Hope I'll be able to take some pictures of everyone this season! ;)
Also I was hoping to send out some Cookies with Brian - Just getting a "Feeler" if anyone would be in the mood for Chocolate Chip cookies? I'll be making them soon if that is the case.

Yep, we will be giving the "2.0 treatment" to some more houses this spring, Zach. Right now we're still in the early planning stage...but check back, we'll be posting more details on the site once we get going!

Yeah, I think you could've taken him, Scott -- you've probably been getting a lot more practice in your rock star playroom.
Karl almost had Brian in this tourney...but I still think Br...er, Guntar is going to need to hone his chops some more for the block party face-offs this season!

I'll get Gunter in shape... Even though he kicks my butt everytime, I need some game play time myself - I think he made a monster out of me with the guitar hero... I need to go buy it now... ;)
I finally will be able to get some "Toys" now that I am almost settled in to my apartment. It was all about the furniture before - but now... It is all about buying the video games, an Ipod (for working out) and a new point and Shoot camera - My big girl camera can sometimes be a little too big at family functions...
And Jim - I just got a WIRELESS set up - you'd be so proud I hooked it up myself - so I can get on the net in my living room with my laptop.. Awe the little things that make life sweet! ;) heh heh... And of course following instructions doesn't hurt either...

Nice, Michele, I am proud of you! Glad to hear you're giving your new place the "2.0 treatment."
Now if you could just do the same to Guntar's fur shorts (and in this case, "2.0 treatment" means "add at least 2.0 feet more material to each thigh!") ;)

LOL! I'll see what I can do for you Jim... :)
