Comcast vs. FiOS

Tech blogger Mathew Collins of onovia.com did comparative speed tests of Comcast and FiOS. He seemed impressed at the upload speed of FiOS, even though it appears he got the package at the lowest speed tier (he actually has the option to upgrade to either 15 or 20 megabit-per-second upload speeds, now that symmetrical service is available in all FiOS areas.)

Congrats, Mathew!

Thanks. Actually, after test, I found out that I have an even greater upload speed. When testing to NYC, I'm getting around 1800 kb/s up. The Portland test was flawed in some way.

Nice! I was already jealous of your previous, incorrect upload speed -- where I live (out of FiOS country) I get half that on a good day!
