Over the past few weeks on set, I've kinda gotten used to wonderlands of the high-tech variety. (Emphasis on the pseudo-word "kinda" -- I'm still blown away by each reveal, mind you.)
But today is something else entirely. Maybe waking up to the sight of fluffy blankets of snow is old hat to all y'all Yankees by now, but to this Florida boy, it was nothing short of incredible. This is probably only the second or third time in my life I've even seen snow, and when I looked out my hotel window this morning, I literally gasped. I couldn't have been more delighted if I were 10 years old and saw Santa himself climbing through the window.
Then we got to the Zaharkos and were greeted by the smell of the warm pumpkin bread Christine was baking, and some delicious cookies that Samuel and his friend Gabby had already made. Could this job get any better?
Oh, but it can! We get to take this amazing holiday vibe to the next level and play Santa for Christine, Jay and their nine wonderful kids, as we reveal their high-tech home makeover. Want to see the gigantic smiles on their faces and share in the joy with them? Come to the block party tomorrow from noon to 4pm.
You just might get an early holiday gift yourself, too -- we're giving away a 42" plasma TV, an Xbox 360, an iPod Shuffle, and a 19″ flatscreen computer monitor. RSVP on the show page today and get an extra chance to win!
Oh, and by the way, we will have gas heaters at the party to keep you warm, so put on your galoshes, or snow chains, or...whatever y'all do when it snows and come on down!
