Usually a fun part of the My Home 2.0 experience is when we move the lucky family into the RV for three nights as the Techno-Gurus and crew work on the house. (After all, a block party reveal isn't much of a "reveal" if they family's been peeking.)
But with the Zaharko clan -- Jay, Christine and their nine kids -- it's a little bit trickier. Our producers basically had three options yesterday:
I think the Gurus are working on Option #2, but they've still got a couple more weeks of testing to do, so we went with Option #3 for now. (Sadly, I was out-voted on the vroom-vroom part, though.)
We did still film a funny little segment inside the RV, and the kids had a good time, even without my cheesy sound effects.

i think the contortionism would work.... for sam anyways. three is nice, though. they never have stayed in a hotel as a family. i recommend the noises, make it more realistic!

Can't wait to meet you, either, Rachel! Any friend or family of the Zaharkos is a friend of mine.

Oh, my gosh...I just could NOT imagine those crazy Zaharko's jammed into an RV for 3 whole days (even tho' they're all so slim)! No one could pay me to live in an RV with my gang,,,unless of course, it was rolling down Rt 95 and after the 3 days we got out in Miami. tee hee

That's a wise solution . . . the RV was REALLY nice but I can tell you from personal experience that the bed in the back was crowded with just 2 in it. I'd say sleeping 6 is the limit between 2 more on the couch and 2 in the dining booth area . . . but hold on. . . as I recall, there are 2 cushy front seats so that's 8, then 1 more can fit on the front dash, 1 in the shower and 1 on the roof. Wait, that totally works . . . everybody back in the RV! ; )
Best of luck to the Zaharkos from the Buckley familly!
