Right now I'm blogging (okay, eavesdropping, really) from the dining room of the Jesserer home in Pittsburgh. They're filming Brian in the kitchen, so there's no room for me in there with all the crew and equipment. Brian's talking to Yue, who's down in the basement, so I can't see anything, but it sure sounds interesting.
I've heard Brian mention something about a "superhero switch" and a "bat cave," and I keep hearing Yue on Brian's walkie-talkie, saying, "Now it's on! Now it's off! Now it's on! Now it's off!"
Some other intruguing quotes from Brian the last few minutes:
"Initiating sequence!"
"We must be right at the edge of our frequency."
"I don't think putting it in the refrigerator is a good idea, Yue."
"[LOUD, OBNOXIOUS BURP]"
Okay, so that last one probably had little or nothing to do with the project, but what the heck do you think the Techno-Gurus are doing? Leave your guess in the comments below, then RSVP for the Jesserer block party this Saturday, Nov. 10, and find out for yourself -- at the exact moment the family does!

Heheh, after hearing Yue say, "Now it's on, now it's off," literally about 50 more times, I just overheard her say, "What, you don't speak Russian?"
Clearly, they are wiring up part of a discarded Soviet spacecraft with fiber optic cables to give the Jesserer kids otherworldly super powers. Or not.
