The month of October is Energy Awareness Month, and we want to do our part as Techno Guru's to increase your awareness of energy.

Friday October 25th, Brian and I gave a presentation to the John Hopkin's Center for Talented Youth and their parents. We hope that the students enjoyed the demonstrations and hope that both the parents and children left more aware of their energy usage! :)

Alternative Energy is a big topic of discussion these days, and discussions are taking place all over the world about viable sources of clean energy. Well with today's technology, Solar Energy can be setup at your home or office. You wont find many "solar farms" like those for wind power, partly because you need a significant number of solar panels to produce enough energy to power a single home. October is national Energy Awareness Month. Here at My Home 2.0, we bless the families with devices, and computers, and all sorts of power hungry gadgets. Sometimes, however, the gurus get so "consumed" with our projects that we overlook the energy demand of our great projects!
