So my Mom asked me if I would build her a website for her 7th Grade Math Class. I agreed, and no less than an hour later she sent me a four page document outlining each page she wanted on her site!
I guess she assumed I would say yes (or knew that I didn't have a choice) and prepared the content for her site. So within a few hours we had the site up and running. That was the easy part...
The tough part is making sure all the kids are performing at the top of thier game!
Go behind the scenes at the top-secret lab where the Techno-Gurus create their amazing inventions for the show....
Before I get into the second article of the Hack-a-Bat 101, I would like to address the rumors that have been going around stating that I am on the men's gymnastic team. Some of you have seen the video of me doing a flip at the Phillies game. Yes, Olympic gymnasts Shawn Johnson and Paul Hamm and their coach were there to witness my incredible skills, but-contrary to popular belief- I was not asked to be on the team. I would, however, like to say that all the athletes from every country are doing an amazing job, and it is inspiring to see their hard work and dedication. :)
Now back to our regularly scheduled lesson...
I've received some interesting comments about the Hack-a-Bat including "Wow thats a really great idea, but there is no way I could ever build anything like that", or "I would need three degrees in engineering to figure that one out!", or my favorite, "man if I could build that, I would be a millionaire!"
Well I want to help you "get a grip" on the hack-a-bat by breaking the project down into its core components. I will attempt to help those of you out there itching to hack-your-bat. This series of articles will give you a basic understanding of how the circuitry and software works, as well as the geometry, calculus and physics involved with the project.
Lloyd the Guru came back to our home to assist in some techno
stuff w/ the community and w/ Rich. It was great to see him and he
taught us all alot.
My family and I decided to go on a road trip across America. We traveled over 5000 miles meeting great people and visiting some great destinations. I always learn new things about my self, the country and others when I travel like did you know the official name of our highway system is the Dwight D. Eisenhower National System of Interstate and Defense Highways?? Yeh. Neither did I...
Ryan Howard talks to Guru Lloyd about the secret to a better swing, and how he started hitting tape-measure home runs...at age 12....

Now before you go jumping the gun on the lab name, we are not involved in any illegal activities...
MET-Lab stands for Music Entertainment Lab, and its where alot of interesting projects are born including the brains for Teddy...
Our Techno-Guru show hosts have created some pretty fantastic inventions for our 2.0 Families....
But the latest 2.0 creation takes their game, as Guru Lloyd would say, to the next level....
This is one of the exclusive scenes you won't be seeing in the Wurtz family's HD show episode, for reasons explained in the video...
